Picture this: Can Sumoi, the brainchild of Pepe Raventós from Raventós i Blanc and his childhood buddy, Francesc Escala, is the epitome of cool collaboration. For years, they've been brewing up dreams of crafting still wines right in their homeland of Catalonia. Then, on one epic bike adventure through the lofty peaks of west Penedès, Pepe stumbles upon a hidden treasure—a dilapidated seventeenth-century Finca. Naturally, he recruits Francesc, who's just as jazzed about the discovery. Fast forward to 2016, and fueled by their shared passion, they decide to breathe new life into the old estate, making their dream a reality with the birth of Can Sumoi.
