The pandemic put the kibosh on most of our in-store food and wine events and masterclasses over the last 20 months or so and we've missed the energy and atmosphere that they bring to the shop.  We have hosted some very successful GMW Live fine wine masterclasses over Zoom during this period, as well as Fine Wine Fridays, where customers got the chance to purchase a glass of something very special to try at home.

We celebrated Beaujolais Nouveau day with  a small, in-store event a couple of weeks ago and it felt exhilarating to have customers and friends sharing some good wine and cold plates in Green Man Wines again. We have provisionally planned some events for 2022, with the first one, featuring fine wines of Spain, provisionally booked for 10 February. We will have to monitor the ongoing restrictions and state of play with Covid-19, however there will be regular updates on social media and in our weekly newsletter on any upcoming events
