Niepoort is a renowned port house that was founded in 1842 and is currently led by Dirk Niepoort, the fifth generation of the Niepoort family. Recently, Dirk has been joined by Daniel Niepoort, who takes on the role of winemaker.

Niepoort has gained a formidable reputation for producing aged ports, as well as crafting delicious white and red wines. They are considered a niche player in the industry, blending centuries-old tradition with a spirit of innovation.

In addition to their involvement in the Douro region, where the renowned port wine is produced, Niepoort has expanded its vineyards and projects beyond the Douro.
They have ventures in Bairrada, Dao, Alentejo and Vinho Verde, allowing them to explore different terroirs and grape varieties.

With their rich heritage, commitment to quality, and willingness to push boundaries,
Niepoort continues to captivate wine enthusiasts with their diverse range of aged ports, exquisite white wines, and remarkable red wines.

Our wonderful Chef, Dan Smith will prepare some food to pair with the wines of the night.
