The wines of Burgundy have seen significant price increases over the last few years - driven by a few things - challenging weather conditions (leading to reduced volumes), smaller production therefore higher demand and ambitious growers pushing the quality levels of viticulture and winemaking up.
But, fear not! I've sourced some fantastic quality and great value Burgundy. The key (I believe) is to know the grower/producer and to look to the areas that were once too cool to ripen grapes fully. Tough job to research, but I do it for you.
